Andrea Anders
Anders is a native of Madison, Wisconsin. She was born and raised in DeForest but is currently in Los Angeles. Her graduation was in 1993 at DeForest Area High School in DeForest Wisconsin. And in 1997, she graduated with a bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. In 2001 she received a master's degree in fine art from Rutgers University. Anders was in a relationship to Matt LeBlanc (whom she met on the set of Joey) and her co-star from the cancelled show. Anders' brother is director Sean Anders (Sex Drive, Never Been Thawed). Since 2001 Anders started her professional career in the theatre. In the Broadway show Proof, she was Mary Louise Parker's Understudy. In the following production, The Graduate, Anders played Elaine Robinson. Additionally, she was in On the Jump on the Arena Stage and New Doors at the Guthrie Theater. The actress is also a part of Two New York Stage & Film Productions, Cold/Tender, and New World Rhapsody. Anders was first seen as Jeannie in Fat Pig on the Geffen Playhouse stage. Fat Pig was closed by July 1, 2007. The character she played was Jeannie the accountant. Anders appeared in her first commercial on TV for Dannon during the 90s. In the year the year 2006. Anders was best known for her appearances as a character in Joey in Joey and The Class, where she was Nicole Allen Campbell (the ex-wife of a football athlete) (and as lawyer Alex Garrett). Both shows were cancelled even though she was in each episode. Anders also appeared in guest roles in One Life to Live and Law & Order. She appeared as an actor on The Guiding Light. Anders was featured five times on an episode of HBO's Oz series in the year 2003. She played Heather Degenhart as well as Brandy in The Stepford Wives. Anders appeared on Numb3rs, which aired in the year 2008. Anders also appeared on two TV pilots which were unsuccessful. Spellbound and News To Me were the two unsuccessful television pilots. Anders is currently starring for the part of Better Off Ted by Victor Fresco which is an ABC workplace comedy produced on one camera.
